What can I do with left over pork?
We had a lovely leg of pork for Sunday roast but didn't use it all. I cut up the leftovers into small pieces and froze them, thinking I'd use them later. Now I'm trying to decide what to make with them. My daughter commented that she doesn't like leftover pork as it tends to be dry and I know what she means. Can any oldstylers help me with a recipe please?
Work advice
Hi all Really don't know if this is on the right thread - sorry. I was made up to senior at work 6 weeks ago. I was really pleased to be offered the position, but knew i would have some resentment from some of the other staff, who have been there longer. To be honest the first couple of weeks were terrible, but i got through this and the staff are now ok except for one person. She has been there for nearly 6 yrs done her nvq and is on the next one. She was put in the kitchen because ofher attitude (either that or she would of had to leave) This all happened before i was there. This one woman keeps coming out with comments like you are not my senior, she tries to work against me and undermine me. This happens from time to time one minute she is nice the next she comes out with comments. On Thursday she did this again. At the time i could not do a thing because of various reasons, i went home and cried i was so fed up with it all. Fri morning one of my bosses phoned me (there are 2) He had been told everything that had been going on, by a friend of mine. On monday the other boss has called us in and the other woman is going to be asked why she is doing this. To be honest i don't think she can get through this resentment. She has always been intimadating and everyone tip toes around her. I am so scared. I have never been through anything like this at all. Has anyone else been in this position? I would be grateful to any replies. Sorry for the long post.
Aged 45, no pension, invest 100k
I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the pensions section, if its in the wrong place - sorry. Heres the scenario - could be me soon. A man aged 45 has no pension fund currently running but has one that he paid into for 12 years and then stopped contributing to due to a change in circumstances. He has his own ltd company which produces a small profit each year (enough to pay the bills and live on). He has just come into some money (100k) - whats the best thing to do with it? Should he pay off some of the mortgage (mortgage is 200k with 18 yrs left), see if he can put it in a pension fund or invest it elsewhere (isa, stocks, etc).
How to check bank interest calculations
Can anyone suggest how I can check the interest payments on a regular savings account? I have a monthly saver account with Lloyds which paid 8 per cent for the first two years. I have been paying in 250 pounds per month. The interest on the statement is lower than I expected and I would like to calculate it myself.
file security
Is there any way of password protecting files on my PC ? I know I can do it with individual documents, just wondered if it was possible for the file.
